Synopsis: Low alloying is helpful to form more couipact Passivated membrance on the surface and improve anti-cor-rosion property. This paper has mainly studied anti-corrosion;technological and mechanical properties of low alloyed castiron including the elements of antimony;tin;copper;rare earth and aluminium etc.. The optimalcomposition has been obtained through orthogonal contrast analysis. It has good anti-corrosion;technological and mechan-ical properties and advantages of long durability;simplicity of production process and low cost.
