objective:to describe a method for determining rutin and quercetin of flowers in limonium bicolor byhplc.method:the determination was carried out over a hypersil ods2 column(4.6 mm 250 mm; 5 m)atroom temperature(24 ).the mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.5; phosphoric acid aqueous solution withthe gradient elution(ch_3oh:33; at 0 min; 33; at 20 min; 38; at 25 min; 38; at 60 min); the flow rate:1 ml min~(-1); and detection wavelength was set at 355 nm.results:the linear in the range of 0.12-1.20 g forrutin(r=0.9999)and 0.04-0.40 g for quercetin(r=0.9997); the average recovery of rutin was 101.3;(rsd=0.7;)and of quercetin was 102.0;(rsd=1.7;); the sample solution was steady within 15 h.conclusion:the method is simple; and had good linear relationship.
